PRIVATE EVENT: Back to School Cookie Class

Jenn's Private Cookie Decorating Class

Course level: Beginner

This is a private class that will be hosted by Jenn at The Inspired Kitchen Showroom on Thursday, August 10th. She will be providing a few snacks and beverages, but feel free to bring something to share! Class will begin promptly at 5:30 PM and run until 7-7:30 PM. Jenn picked the theme and helped me choose the designs to decorate and is looking forward to having a fun night with all her friends! 

You don't need to have any decorating experience to attend this class... it is meant for someone who is looking to learn the basics and just have a little fun! 

Together, we will go through decorating five Back-to-School themed cookies using royal icing (as pictured in the photo above). Note: Colors may vary slightly. At the end of class, you will walk away with all the cookies you decorated in a gift box to take home and enjoy!

All attendees must be registered by Wednesday, July 26th.

Techniques taught in class will include:

• How to cut and use tipless piping bags.
• How to use different icing consistencies.
• How to outline and flood cookies using the same icing consistency.
• How to use "wet-on-wet" techniques.
• How to flood separate sections to create dimensional details.
