FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED FOR A CUSTOM ORDER?

A: I typically open my availability calendar one month at a time and I recommend customers get their requests in as soon as possible. As I work full time during the week, I can only manage a limited amount of custom order requests.

Q: WHAT KIND OF COOKIES DO YOU MAKE?

A: My standard cookie is a vanilla sugar cookie with vanilla royal icing. I am always trying new flavors in the kitchen and will try to bring specialty flavors with me to pop-up events. I can sometimes accommodate a specialty flavor for custom order requests. For a full flavor list, please email me directly. Note: Additional charges will apply.

Q: WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

A: I accept VENMO, all major credit cards and Apple Pay. I can also accept cash.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A: For a full refund, orders must be cancelled at least three weeks prior to the cookie pick up date. Cancelling two weeks prior to the pick up date will incur a 20% cancellation fee (80% of your payment will be returned). No refunds will be provided once work begins on your order.

Q: HOW ARE THE COOKIES PACKAGED?

A: Each cookie comes individually heat sealed which is included in the pricing that is provided to you. Special packaging requests can be accommodated (ribbon, specialty bows, tags, boxes, etc). There would be an added fee for specialty packaging and enough notice needs to be provided so I can order what is needed.

Q: HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER DURING THE HOLIDAYS?

A: While I do not usually take custom orders during Holiday weeks, I do put together options which you can pre-order for pick up at a later date. Menus are emailed to subscribed members first and are posted to my website.

Q: HOW LONG DO THE COOKIES STAY FRESH?

A: The cookies generally stay fresh at least two weeks. They should not be put in the fridge and should be stored at room temperature. You can also freeze them to save for a future date! Generally the cookies can be frozen for up to six months. I provide freezing instructions with orders upon request.

Q: CAN YOU SHIP YOUR COOKIES?

A: I am a licensed Cottage Food Operator in the state of Connecticut which means I can only sell my cookies in CT, I cannot ship. I am happy to provide you tips and tricks to package the cookies to send to a friend or loved one.

Q: WHAT IS THE COTTAGE FOOD LAW?

A: The Cottage Food Law allows me to bake and sell out of my home kitchen, without having a bakery space. I can only sell in Connecticut. I became licensed in April of 2020 with the State of Connecticut.
